The Options Income portfolio simultaneously serves two purposes: income and stock accumulation. My strategy is to write naked puts on stocks that I wish to own at the price I want to own them at.
If the stock price stays above the strike price of my put options I keep the premium (income). If the stock price happens to fall below the strike price of my put options I acquire the stock at the strike price minus the premium (accumulation at a discount).
If I am assigned stock during this process I will either keep the stock in one of my portfolios (Empire or Freedom) or I will keep it in the Options Income portfolio for covered call writing. Details on my strategy can be found HERE.
